You can sign up with thus programs for free. Doesn’t cost anything to join them, you can also find thus small, independent affiliate programs by searching for a niche on google, adding affiliate programs in characters. Like this for ex.

make money with free blogs “affiliate program”
affiliate marketing “affiliate program”
Article marketing “affiliate program”

The following affiliate programs are big, they all have thousands of product to sell and you can sign up with all of them for free.

Commission Junction
ShareAsale
PayDotCom
Clickbank

But trough this affiliate marketing tutorial I’ll be using clickbank in my examples, clickbank is great to learn affiliate marketing with and understand niche markets and how this stuff works. They pay nice commissions to affiliates so clickbank is actually the only affiliate program you need to sign up with as you follow this tutorial.

I don’t know how much or how little you know about affiliate marketing at this point and how to make money with blogs.. But you might have heard others talking about how important it is know how to find a profitable niche market. You might have heard that you need to learn how to find a profitable affiliate niche before you start bloging.

This is true, you need to find a profitable niche market in order to make money online (and I’m amazed how many there are who skip this important step) If you decide to sell a marketing course and you nock up a blog entitled, germanshepard123@.com and throw in a few articles about dogs, how big is the chance that a dog owner would buy the marketing course?

Well.. The chance is certainly out there but this is not a business… this is hoping.

You must know how to find a profitable niche market.. Better yet, focus in on the niche market to find niches within it, if you want to discover how to make money with blogs rapidly. You can go for the main niche market to but that will take some time and require lots of work.

but we’re not going to go after a niche market in general. Were about to find tiny niches within niche markets, to make some easy money and learn affiliate marketing with actual experience.

Here is an example of what I’m talking about and I’m using affiliate marketing in my example.

Affiliate marketing consists of many sub niches within it so to speak, for ex.

“pay per click advertising”
“search engine optimisation”
“email marketing”
“social media marketing” etc.

So if we’re interested in making money with the affiliate marketing niche we need to focus in on a sub niche to make it possible to make money. like “pay per click advertising”

Okay.. So pay per click advertising is a great niche market, people using adwords have money and they spend them obviously (because it cost money to advertise trough adwords) So making some money there is posible but how can I get them over to my blog or marketing articles?

I would have to attract them to my blogs with information or products that they them self seek out. First you need to get an idea of what niche market you can enter where there also are eager buyers to make money from. Than you need to find out what sort of information and products they willingly pay there money for. There are many ways to learn about what your potential prospects is paying money for and eagerly is looking for.

You can look at niche forums and other places or you can write down a few hobbies of your own and consider just what you would be willing to pay for, than go a do a search on google for it, once you find a niche market with eager buyers you can search for independent affiliate programs on google, or do more product research on any of the big affiliate directories.

Now you know how to find a niche market that actually can put money down your pockets and how to use independent affiliate programs.

You’ll also understand why I’m recommending clickbank and why I’m using clickbank trough this affiliate marketing tutorial.

You see.. The publishers at clickback has already done the hard work for us and there sales statistics is all the proof we need to decide if they have a cash pumping niche market ready for us.

And if they’ve done a good job than we can even use there product as our niche market.
If there is a product that sells daily and bring in lots of money than that product is a niche market.

And most publishers who know what they’re doing to make money online find a very profitable niche and create or find there own little niche within it.

For ex. If the niche is “affiliate marketing” and the sub niche is “pay per click advertising” than a self made or spotted sub niche to “pay per click” could be “how to make money with adwords using placement targeting” now this is a specific approach to adwords having to do with paying for adsens placements on niche related sites and blogs and thus whose interested In this would like to buy a course of this topic, since there aren’t so many available they’ll buy what they find. And the publisher makes tons of money.

Most of the clickbank publishers knows this stuff and they do the hard work for us.. All there is to do for us really, using clickbank is to decide witch product to sell.

And here is how to do it.

Go a head and sign up with Clickbank if you haven’t done so already.

Now, head over to the “marketplace” and brows trough the different categories.
You can look trough what ever section you find interesting but generally, “internet marketing” “weight loss” and “gambling” are very popular niches so products having to do with thus categories tends to convert well.

Although, I’m not suggesting that you promote affiliate marketing products since most of the buyers are affiliates them self’s and they rarely buy from affiliates.

In order to discover how profitable and competitive a product is you need to look at the stats displayed below the product.

This is so important that I even bather with a picture (click the image to enlarge it)

You want to look at $/sale and grav:
I would suggest that you go for products with at lest 30 dollars in $/sale: because that’s what you receive in commission per sale you make. Although, less than 30 can be okay it’s up to you.

The product also needs to have a good grav:
Grav: is the indicator of how successful the product is and how much competition there is for you. And basically, a grav over 100 is competitive, you can sell products like that but they require a lot of article writing and efforts from your part. On the other hand, a product with to little gravity means that there are no competition and no sales, and what you should be looking for is a product to sell that has a decent demand and makes money online as well as an opportunity for you to get your piece of the profits without having to work your bum of.

As a guideline, you should be looking for products with a gravity between 20 and 90. Less than 20 can be slow and over 90 can be to competitive.

Go a head and follow this guidelines and find maybe 5 to 10 different affiliate products that you can research later on. Put them on a text file and save it on your computer for further research.

In the next post we’ll go trough how to determine witch one of them will be the best product to compete for and make money online with.

Don’t forget to subscribe to learn affiliate marketing And get posts from this blog via email.
